Well it looks like there will be a new blue after all. Kinetic blue for the new Hot Wheels SEMA Camaro. Let the panic begin. Let's hope they make more than the 1500 initial limit. They did say if there was enough demand they would make more. As of now it is only available on the 2LT and 2SS options. Although that is what they said when the green color came out and then they made it available on all options.

Does anyone know how close the Kinetic Blue on the 2013 Hot Wheels Edition is to our Aqua Blue Metallic I set pictures side by side but hard to tell if there is any difference. Would be nice to see the two side by side.

Yeah, I did the ZL1 front end and side skirts. I have white GS stripes, but will be switching to matte black soon since there's quite a bit of black on my car now. I don't have the fender vents though.

The share a similar tone, but they're otherwise two completely different colors.

Kinetic Blue to me looks to be like ABM, but without the Aqua and likely retains more of the blue hue than a tealish color like ABM does in the shade.

But In the sun, based on the pictures I've seen they are fairly similar.

I wouldn't trade my ABM for any other regular color out there, but I have to admit that if KBM and ABM were available from the get go, I'd have a KBM.
