To each his own I guess. I am 6' with a 31" inseam and sit very upright.

The Camaro is the roomiest car for me I have driven in a long time. It's wide, I can spread my legs furyher appart. It is so unbelievably comfortable and spacious I almost wish it were smaller.

I don't need 4 inches of space over my head to feel roomy, maybe you do. Get a Tahoe then.

All I can say is for the trip to California in Number 3 and trip to Florida in Thor, spacious and roomy would be my top descriptors of the Camaro.

I'm starting to doubt if the Camaro even exists. This website is a conspriacy to drive me mad!!!!
Hey! I was pretty proud when I reached 5'3"!

I actually kind of had the opposite problem with the seat when I first got in. I needed it forward for sure but didn't want to crank it all the way up and look like a granny hugging the wheel. The 6-way seat is great though and should accommodate most sizes.

With all of the guys going back and forth on this thread posting their measurements, I was just thinking how nice it would be to have personal pics too...

Just asking....

I've adjusted the seat, I've adjusted the steering wheel. It wasn't a quick criticism, just an observation and an opinion. FACT is, that's how I felt. Tell me how that makes me an idiot? Why? Maybe I missed an adjustment, maybe its just not for me.
Welcome to the new and improved camaro5 forums. Problems aren't appreciated here. If your post isn't unqualified gushing love for the Camaro, it simply isn't welcome. Notice no one besides #3 thought at all about different driving positions (upright vs gangsta lean) and no one at all mentioned differences in size in body parts. One person may have long legs but a relatively short torso, or vice versa. That is why we look at specs for both headroom and legroom, not to mention hip, shoulder, etc. If people only grew in one direction this detail wouldn't be necessary. Anyway, I had a similar issue. I'm only 5-8, but when I was in my preferred driving position my head was pretty close to the roof (car was equipped with sunroof). It is pretty close to the roof in my Cobalt too. It isn't a deal breaker and I wasn't too uncomfortable, but that depends on your preferences. I also have a long torso relative to my legs, so my modest height is mostly found in my upper body. If you can't adjust the seat to be comfortable, well, it just might not be the car for you. It isn't a problem with the car, your height, body type, or position, but likely all of those things coming together. Sucks, but its happened to many people with many cars. A car may be great on paper, but you also need that just-right fit with it personally.

Just kidding. I'm 6'1" 230 took me some time to get everything set right in my 2SS.
hahahaha. It didn't feel small when I was in it, it felt... cozy, snug. I don't know. It was really comfortable. I'm 6' 140lbs.

Welllll then... I am 5'10", 190lbs, and I fit fine in the car perfectly. Sometimes I reach back to adjust the headrest but my biceps get in the way sometimes. And when I am driving to the beach to take a long walk and work on my tan, I like to roll the windows down and let my short dark hair blow in the wind, but I do have to wear my sunglasses so that my green eyes dont get anything in them. Oh and here is my pic...

I'm 6'4" and had to order one without the sunroof. I just don't have the head room with it. Without the sunroof, I get almost 1 1/2" of clearance. That is with the seat all the way back, the back of the seat laid back some, and the bottom of the seat lowered in the back and raised in the front. Then I fit in it just like the old 2nd and 3rd generation Camaros. With those same exact seat positions, my head hits the roof with the sunroof.

Are there any normal sized guys on this forum?! Everyone is 6' or more. Where are all the 5'8"-5'10"ers?

It does seem to attract the "large" American stereotype.
