Lightbulb Rims

Looking at going with some Weld wheels, but can't figure wheather to go 18 x 10.5 or 20 x 10.5 rear. Can y'all that have either give me the advantages and disadvantages to each?
Thanks in advance..

Go 17 if your not going to do a 15 inch conversion.

18s here no issues in rear. I know some people say go 17, overall tire height will be an issue with the 17s if you go full drag pack. If you don’t mind pulling your ABS fuse go for it. I personally run 18s because the other all tire height and gear ratio the car has it works better for me overall.

Full drag pack and no issues here? the only time it becomes a issue is if your tires are over about a half inch difference front to back.

17s front and rear drag pack with Mickey Thompson ET Street R no issues and you will have 28" tire height. No ABS Fuse pull for this setup.

18's hook better than 20's

17's hook better than 18's but you may need a LCA if you are even remotely lowered

15's Hook the best and have the cheapest tire prices, but you need a 15" conversion. BMR, Carlyle racing, or you piece it together using pontiac G8 kit which is a modified oem style LCA.

20's are good for handling as a street car, they wont ever 60 ft like the smaller rims, but if you are sub 700 hp toyo R888R will stick pretty good for a 20. Stabilitrack variance is an inch i believe, make sure your tires are within that variance.

Thanks
That's what I needed to know. It's basically gonna be a street toy and maybe a drag strip once in awhile...
