You will notice it but depending on the brand of tire you buy some run wider than others

It looked way better too!

You probably won't feel a difference and I'm guessing you're talking about rear tire only so the only difference you'll feel is in the corners and unless you love understeer it won't be a good difference. Are you having an issue with tire spin?

1LE forum. It's the track package. I, and many others, have spent good money trying to remove understeer. You are deliberately adding more. But, as a half-glass full kinda person, I can see the upside. Upside being that you'll have less back pain when you're 70 because your wallet will be lighter from the more expensive tires you get to buy.

So it's a toss really. Good luck on the decision.

Agree with the thought above - the square stance is you best bet for keeping understeer in check. If you just wanna drag race and need as much tire under the back as possible, then it's fine, but it will negatively impact the cornering balance of the car. Just gotta decide what's important to you, I know folks doing it both ways, and happy with their choices.

FWIW I have spent some time with a 1LE car that migrated to a 275/315 setup. It certainly didn't have a gross imbalance, but it definitely tightened the car up on the limit. I run a square 275 setup on my SS, and even with stock chassis tuning the car is noticeably much closer to neutral than with a stock 245/275 configuration.

What's your goal, Scotty? I've considered staying square, because I don't want to affect the cars balance on the track, but maybe going 295 or 305 all around...

It was an attempt at humor. That said, I'm not a comedian, and it shows really.

I did it with MPSS. No difference, only street drive.
Was hoping for better straight line traction and I like the way they look.

I think that the comment about the wallet was hillarious.

Just curious tho, what kind of handling effect would happen if I were to run 295/35/20's on all 4 corners of my 1LE ? I understand that our OEM 285/35/20's are 27.9" tall, and the 295/35/20's are 28.1" tall, but will this change anything other than a slight difference in gear ratio ?

Thanks !

Nope, you won't feel a difference at all.
