How much is TOO much??
I know modding can be addictive.... and everyone has their own opinions about what looks good. But how much is too much? Do you just get a gut feeling when it's "done"???
The guy at the shop I go to told me once to do one thing at a time, to get a better finished product - that way you can get the gut feeling that you're "done"... (I already know what else I'm doing, just wanted other opinions...)

Its possible to over-do it in my opinion. Starts to look too tacky after awhile. Just my 2 cents.

I stopped modding about 4 months ago. My priorities changed, I moved cross country for a job, now im saving up for a big house.

I always get teased by friends and co-workers that I am constantly "modding" my Camaro. I'm glad I haven't heard any comments stating that my mods are tacky, at least none said to my face. Ha!!

It's never too much if you don't think it is. It's your car, do whatever you want with it!

It's all too much, there's so much variety out their for our cars now that we wanna make it our own, they way I don't do too much at once I set myself a dollar amount each month I'm allowed to spend then have to install before that dollar amount can be reset
I know I'm not sane but makes sense between my ears somehow |

It's too much when you start getting bored with the ride and consider starting a new project

I can be classified as one of those I think majority of people on here have done a really good job with their cars and done them up to give them a peronal touch but I have seen a few that look like they got lost along the way

I'm not sure I will ever be done. I have to go slowly due to budget constraints. By the time I get finished with all I want to do, something will need re-doing............or there will be something new out that I want to add. I won't add stuff just to be doing it, I have a grand overall plan. I think for sure you can make your car look junked up or overdone. Too much of one thing can do that. Just some tastefully done apperance mods, a little contrast, some theme running through it, and performance mods to achieve your own personal goals in that area and all should be well.
