2010 SS A/C issues (I know, I know...)
To Start, the problem:
2010 SS (LS3) A/C works okay with exterior temps 70-80deg F Temps Above 85-90deg F the A/C goes warm Compressor appears to be spinning Recharged A/C by weight (not guessing, filled to sticker with A/C machine) Undercharging by 0.2lbs makes it work a liiiiiiitle better I can be driving in stop and go, or freewy speeds when it cuts out. Airflow 'feels' normal, so I'm not convinced the evap is freezing up. So, I've been searching the threads for a common consensus on A/C issues on the 5th Gen Camaros, and I can't seem to find any posts with solutions. I saw talk of programming fixing something, but I cannot get the &$#% thing to act up when I have the pressure gauges on it, so I'm leaning toward expansion valve or GM mystery part that isn't in a normal A/C system. Has anyone actually had their A/C issue fixed? What was the issue? |
