I was replying to post #231 where it appears you were quoting yourself
If there's something wrong there, let me know what I need to fix and I will edit any of my posts that followed. Norm

Forum software seems to be screwing up the quotes. That's what I'm calling it, anyway. Previous posts edited with a little sarcastic humor. Sorry some flak came your way.

That Michelin is too wide. Michelin’s run wide and are squared shouldered.

The Pirelli Trofeo's are shot at 10,000 miles, tracked the car 2 times once at NOLA once at NCM. I'm gonna go with the Michelin sport cups, I hope they as good or better than the Trofeo's, gonna go with the original size

I ordered 305/30/19 Hankook rs4’s from tire rack. They should be on by beginning of April. I really like this tire as a double duty street/track tire. They were only .6 sec slower compared to toyo R888R’s in my track car at njmp thunderbolt. Had I had more time on them I feel maybe even less. The rs4 didn’t get greasy as my fastest lap was my last of the session. And they are known for how well they wear. I’ll report once they are on.

The MPSC2s are great tires... you can drive them fairly hard right out of the pit lane and they will give you much more life, but if speaking just about grip - they are not going to be close to the Trofeos. One is a 200 wear, the other a 60 wear... not the same league. The Michelin is not a "R" compound tire, but getting close and it's as high quality a tire as one can buy. (And it costs it - as do Trofeos)
