Lambos are far overpriced.

Go with the Viper. It's still eye-catching and you won't waste as much money.

EDIT: Saw your latest post, that sucks. Oh well, all things considered I think you've still got it pretty good.

So if I have this straight, your Dad was going to buy a near $300,000 sports car, but now can't because of your grandmother's medical bills? Not to belittle the situation with your grandmother, but you don't seriously consider buying a 1/4 million dollar supercar one day, then get torched so hard by medical bills you're looking at a dts the next. If you don't have gobs and gobs of money, spending $300k on a car is just plain dumb.

Thanks for all the responses and the good laughs you gave me, dad decided to not to get a new car for himself. His foundation is needing some work and he's trying to help others before himself so he can't justify buying a car for so much. That said... The spoiled little brat I will be called has been offered a Corvette 4LT which I just can't refuse. I really am grateful and respectful of my opportunities at such a young age and know I'll have to work my ass off to have a lifestyle like this later in life, if I can at all. I will be selling my beauty for it... Which is oh so very hard to imagine :(. I'll stay with the forum though!

Sounds like this Ritchie rich needs to share the wealth with the some of us blue collar workers, some of us are lucky and fortunate to have what we have to let alone hear bout some prebruescent 16 year old and his father have to decide on a viper or Lamborghini. Sounds like this kid needs to work a 40 hour a week job to see how much money means to some of us

Don't like it, don't post about it - don't read it. Thanks for your time though.

Good thing it has nothing to do with what blue collar workers earn. Don't belittle the guy for having a wealthy family. It's his parents' decision on what to do with their, not your, money.

Careful there, guy. I think you might be sucking up all the green in the world...

Frankly OP, I find you to be a respectable young lad based on the posts in this thread, for which I commend you. It's all too easy to wave your (or your family's) money in other people's faces, but you showed restraint. There was absolutely no condescension in your tone. Enjoy the Corvette, you lucky dog! I'll take that Camaro off of your hands if you ever decide it's becoming a paperweight...
If it's still open, I vote Lambo.

How did those sayings go when I was growing up? Life's never fair. If you want something then work for it. etc... etc... etc...

So his dad works his ass of and decides to spend his money how he sees fit. Maybe his father was depraved growing up and wants to splurge on his son. It's not your place to tell someone how to spend their money.

If you're hurting so bad, do what my mom did a few years ago, go get a degree. There are news articles of people getting their degrees at the age of 80.

Here you go, so no actually I'm back; nice try though.
LT4 Auto showed up on the lot today, but it wasn't open by the time I could visit; I showed up right before night and took some pics.

This will most likely not be the Corvette I will buy, as I found a used Z06 for a similar price which bears my favorite engine of all time the LS7.

They spelled the last name wrong :(
