Maybe I wouldn't be able to figure exactly who did it, but I would fire bomb every chop shop in the area. And that is a serious statement, you can use this at my trial.

Looks like they left a clue,that can of paint.

The bar code sticker for mixing on the lid would give the date and time and store it was bought at.

Now just view the store security video and the Cops may have a lead.

Any chance you can go back and get a pic of it's vin and forward to local PD? That's someones baby sitting there to rot. The insurance would love to collect it and who knows, maybe it's fixable in their eyes....

I grew up in Oakland, was a lot safer back in the day.
BTW, that camaro isn't vandalized, it is stolen.
Might also be insurance fraud for someone having trouble making car payments.
Oakland PD knows the car is there but investigating murders takes priority.
