I would personally love to have a 373 gear. Nice road gear with a little get up and go to it. Last edited by a6pk2go; 03-25-2009 at 03:06 PM. |

I too think the 3.73 will be nice mix .. I had 4.10s in my 98 cobra, but that had a different TQ curve and redlined at 7200 ...

I'm doing 3.90's but anyone who does 4.10 will not be very inconvenienced. I just do a lot of multi hour driving so I still want a significant overdrive.

I'm thinking 3.73-3.90 range, I don't wanna lose my top end. Plus 4.10 or more and other work will be required...

4.10s. 6 gears on this thing. top end and overdrive will not be compromised

3.73's would be weak on this car. With as tall as a tire it has, 3.90 should be the minimum, that would put the gearing on par with most stock cars (not a performance gear). 4.10's are OK, but not much better. It has room for much more gear than that. Really, again because of those monster height wheel/tires in the back, this car needs some serious gear. With the stock gearing the car does over 160 in 4th.
