Yep.

If you have a 1LE, you won't need a different backing plate. Very easy bolt up mod. You can use ZL1 or V rotors, your choice. You will also need a pin kit.

Here's the list I referenced. Part numbers in bold because the text is wonky:

Part Name - GM or Delco Part number

corvette calipers LEFT - 23242497
corvette calipers RIGHT - 23242498
zl1 rotor left - 20795300
zl1 rotor right - 20795302
ZL1 brake lines goodridge (pair) - GOODRIDGE-CAMARO-12227
ACDelco 18K2108X (pin kit) - ACDelco 18K2108X
ZL1 brake pad kit (front set) - ACDelco 171-1040 (or GM 25940447)

I made it about a quarter way through this thread that started off with brake information. Upgrading to the Corvette Z06 calipers with the ported pistons. Questions were asked if the p/n were known for the brake calipers (Which are easy to find these days) but more importantly the ported pistons (not so easy to locate and find). Then the thread goes out in left field with suspension sets ups, cambers and shims. Dudes........ start a new thread so we dont have to read 34 pages of rambling that is non-applicable to the original thread. Thanks

Part numbers for the ported pistons mentioned as a upgrade in the Corvette calipers (2015+), mentioned on page one of this thread. You can upgrade your CTSV and ZL calipers with these.
- ACDELCO 23242510 GM Original Equipment
Front; Heavy Duty Antilock Brakes (J56)
or
- ACDELCO 19207043 GM Original Equipment Info

I just completed the upgrade and am looking forward to seeing how it drives.

An issue that I have seen discussed in many thread is the torque to yield (TTY) bolts.

Not being a fan of TTY bolts I went to the local Fastenal store and purchased new 10.9 bolts. Fronts are M14-2.0X60, part number 11115761, and rears are M12-1.75X60 part number 11115752. These are zinc plated flange head bolts. They cost $5 or $6 bucks each but you can reuse them. I torqued the fronts to 125 ft lbs and the rears to 75 ft lbs and put a dab of Locktite Blue on them.

Good luck
Craig

Old thread, I know. Sorry about that, but doing this now and am wondering if the use of ZL1 pads is a typo here? They're Z06 rotors so would imagine we'd be using Z06 pads.

CTSV, ZL1, & ZO6 use the same calipers just painted different colors.

The ZO6 calipers have vented pistons.

Basically all the same but you use ZL1 rotors or swap the rings over to a set of Z06/GS rotor rings from a Gen6 1LE see over in the Gen6 brakes and suspension forum.

As said above, all 3 cars share the same basic calipers and pads.

Long term update, still really dig this upgrade and feel it was worth every penny. i'll probably need new pads this coming season, but otherwise everything's been solid.

Just gonna revive this oldy but goody good up too see how everyone that has done this still have their cars and how they are liking it.

I still have mine an still think it’s worth the coin. I’m going to start doing the rotors and then re coat the calipers to match IOM.

I still 100% think these cars with their intended purpose should have come with the ZL1 set up. I love my RB Performance rotors and pistons. The last brake job I did I went to the Hawk HP+ and while they make more of a NVH rumble than the Delcos but they do stop nicely. I'm also still on the original paint job. They could use a re paint at this point.
