haha juust kidding guys. but anyway, if this is wide spread, and GM did issue a service bulletin or even a recall, what do you think they would have to do to fix it? would it be extensive?

Not going to worry if something is going to happen to it...at least until I pass 100,000 miles! When asked about my Camaro, I tell people how great that V6 is in mpg and hp. |

That's assuming your dealership is mod friendly. There are dealerships that will try to blame everything on your mods. It also makes me rethink doing a power adder...

I do recall reading a good amount on the timing chain debacle. The way I have read is that the problem has been occuring in vehicles built in 2008 (can be either a 08 or 09 model year). So, there is a good chance your 09 was an 08 build.
