I know that Pfadt gives the specs necessary but what are the chances they need to do more extensive stuff ie....parts..... to do the alignment?

4 wheel alignment after pfadt drop springs was $79.95. I do have to admit the alignment shop was not pleased with how long it took them to dail it in perfectly. It took them almost 1.5hrs.

This is why I say that I don't mind 200.00, but no more.

So they didn't have to add any parts?

Now they wont make a dime.

I'd even pay up to 200.00 but not 370.00

So whith them not taking another hour off, they get nothing.
That's why they are called the "Stealership". Alignment specs have been released and they are similar to the Pontiac G8. No big deal.

There's a lot more to it once the springs are changed or cut ..... It depends if the shocks are OEM or aftermarket ..... All these thing change the suspension travel and have to be recalculated..... You can't just throw a stock alignment at it, it won't work .....

Aligned a Camaro for a body shop recently that had front end damage, nothing special about it, about the sam as a Impala.

Sounds like they spent time looking for the specs and decided to charge me for the time spent.

Mine was just an alignment, after the lowering springs had "settled"...

That sounds exactly like it. I don't have lowering springs, but when I was quoted it was about $100 and there was no mention of different pricing for other set ups.

Glad you stopped them in their tracks.
