That is a shame. If the stripes do not go over the spoiler, it is pointless, no worthless to even have stripes on the rear as they will not be seen from behind..Scott needs to confirm exactly how the stripes will be from factory because showing us two different stripe patterns from production vehicles is making things a little difficult to decide..

lol, I was thinking the same thing. However if the person had that much money to waist, I don't think he/she will care either..

I prefer them like the ones on the shelby mustangs that go all the way down the front and back and on the roof, these just look unfinished to me.
I like the way they look and where they are. It's not a Mustang, it has to be different.

When they auctioned off the first ZR1 we had a little contest on the corvette forum.

Honor system. the closest guess (over or under, no Price is Right rules) gets $5 paypal from all other contestants.

So if anyone is interested......................

I'm in at $250,000.

All bets are off when the car rolls on the block.

if you're gonna start that, you need to start a new thread if you want people to know about it

As much as I love the idea of the stripe going over the spoiler, I really don't like that it ends before the bottom of the spoiler. I like the look of it ending at the trunk line myself.

All the way around is too much but I would prefer to have them to go slightyl past the front hood and stop there and since I'll be getting a wing spoiler I would like them on the deck lid is all.

Not to be too negative on the stripe issue, but, the stripes on the trunk lid look like they were too long so they just folded them over the spoiler. I wish they looked more like the bumblebee concept. Oh well.

So far we're talking about the back. I agree, over the spoiler looks best. But what about the front. I thought they were going to off the hood and end just below the mail slot?

this has been beaten to death so much lately...
long story short - they end on the hood because it's way more complicated to make & correctly install the over-the-slot type.
