I was just curious what a dual intake system would do to our cars. I was just looking on the web and I saw a old El Camino that and a more modern engine in it and I notice that it had a dual intake system on it. Has any one done this or would it make any difference?

spectre performance does dual intake systems.

yeah thats where I was looking . I was just curious if anyone has done this on any 5th gens.

its not listed on their website, but they make normal intake systems for the new camaros. I spoke to Amir from Spectre and its hard to get dual intakes due to space and all the electronics being on the other side of the engine.

Well that's true about the other side having all the electronics on it. Actually it is on their website I had to hunt for it but I found it. Its $299 but based on the parts Auto zone carries Spectre and you can all the parts separate for around $100.

Not worth the hassle and the time and cost that will go into fabricating a dual intake that will fit and actually work. It look cool tho. My buddy has the new Z and never realized those vq had dual intakes. Only if it had back seat for 2 car seat lol.

Yea I agree . It would take some serious fabrication to get it to fit.

I'd absolutely love a dual intake! I'm taking a loan out tomorow so maybe i'll try and get one fabricated.
