Props to both clubs getting together as car enthusiasts should.
I agree a lot is on the driver skill.

But did you consider that the Camaro may be an easier car to drive fast?

BTW good work Team Camaro

Not fanboy man. Clearly you want to start something. My post was even saying Mustangs are not track cars.

Well it was a super fun event! I placed 2nd in the C1 Class, and I don't have enough seat time to compete against a 20+ year SCCA veteran, but I felt held my own! #chickracer

Nothing about what he wrote would lead a halfway intelligent person to believe he's a fanboy. Please be less stupid.

Looking at your mods, if we raced in the 1/4 mile, to be fair I think I need at least a 2 second head start!

I think it would be a great race man. My car is decently quick for what it is. She's a heavy bit** though. Fully optioned + a 205LB driver.

I'm hoping to make it out to the track late october if I can borrow some tires. I'm also scared as the factory 2-piece driveshafts on the 5.0 are very fragile and I have not had a chance to replace it with a solid 1-piece yet.

Now that I have more info, my car is a couple of hundred pounds heavier, I have about 15 pounds on you, make that 2.6 seconds!

Or, can I add a curve in the 1/4?

Ragnar would have to have a really good set to keep up with car with your set up.

Grabber, are you on regular or corn?

Ragnar, what are your mods?

Only mods I have are a CAI Inc. intake and a Bo White TB. I know that I need big head start, or something like an on ramp with a nice long sharp curve that's 1/4 mile long. According to my HUD, I hit .92 G's the other day and the car felt so glued, these Goodyears Eagle F1's are something else in the corners.

ZYBORG, what are your mods?

Hahaha!!! My car might be able to make a turn, but, I'd lose some ground on the twisties against your car. I'd be hoping for a 100 MPH gust of wind behind my car in the straights to attempt to catch up

I had some knock issues on 93 and put in about 8 gallons of 100 octane. I'm probably around 96 octane.

Next year, I may go E85, driveshaft and drag radials. I'm shooting for 450-460 RWHP on corn and working on getting the power to the ground.

A 1LE is still no joke with light mods. I'd imagine it would still be a good race between those types of cars with those mods.

Lol, most definitely!

I currently have LTs/cai/ported oem TB.

Moves nicely but needs more power!

Your future mods will he a huge gain, very well thought out. Should not be a problem to hit your goal.
