Need some more opinions! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

First off, this is my first post. I have been on here for a couple of weeks now trying to decide what color and interior..... I am a senior in high school and hopefully this will stay on schedule and I will get my car really close to graduation... an amazing gift!... I am planning on keeping this car for a very long time and can't decide if I want to stay with the classic look of the silver with grey interior or my other option I like alot is victory red with beige interior... Right now I drive a victory red silverado and love the color when its clean but it shows quite a bit..... I am down to like a week before this has to be finalized for me... I know it comes down to what I want and I like but I would like to get some more opinions please!

Also Thank You for all advice you give in advance before you even post!

i personally like victory red...it stands out in a good way and gets the people lookin even more...

Hey man. Well I orderes a Silver Ice 2ss with inferno interior. I think (and this is my personal opionion) that the Silver shows off the lines of the car the best.

But all i can tell you is to go with your gut. (It's usually right)

Ya im not a big silver fan but most pictures i had seen up untiill this website was silver and it just grew on me. Mine also is a 2ss but either color i go im wanting to keep it a light color interior.(Easier to keep clean)

What's up with all these kids getting Camaro's as presents? We should have a poll about that, the results might be surprising.

I'd get silver just based on your last car being red. Switch it up.

Well last year we was at our dealership picking up my dads new pickup and i was talking with the dealer about them and he asked me if i wanted on the list and i said sure not thinking there would be any chance in it actually happening but right now i have a 2ss and almost talked my way into the RS for it also.... If you know how to make a poll could you please make one asking how many people are getting the RS package on their cars. Would help me alot! thanks!

So I guess they teach grammar and how not to make run-on sentences in your senior year of high school?

. As for your color selection, they both sound great, but I might go with the red, not sure why tho lol!

I would take red over the SIM. I plan on getting an IBM Camaro myself if I end up with a hardtop.

Ridgeback maroon != red. Red just looks better. Just remember, the stereotype (which I find false) is that red cars are 39% more likely to get pulled over because you stand out that much. If you obey the laws, you'll just get that many more onlookers =)

I am part of the 39% in my truck. Never got pulled over untill I drove it. I am from a small town, less than 4000 people. I will deffinitly turn heads and get plenty of looks!

well congrats on your achievement. My first car was a 1988 4runner, and I wasn't able to take the top off according to my parents. This will be my first car with power ever and I'm 25. Congrats on saving up so early.
