Looking for help deciding what to go with

I'm getting close to put some sort of forced induction on the car. What I'm wanting to do is buy something now that I could grow with down the road.

Currently I'm stock bottom end with Cam and full exhaust.

I'd like to male 650-700whp now with meth and shoot for 900-1100 when I get a built short block for it.

So with everything that's out there what will support these plans the best? F1 pro charger, Ecs kit with Ysi unit, or is there a big Whipple available?

Thanks fellas

I personally do not like the feel of a very high HP roots blower car, being that it is my job to drive/tune/race every combination out there, I am lucky that I have a lot of seat time with each type of F/I out there.
I do like a roots blower, the Lycholm has become my choice of roots blowers actually since they come so complete, but it's definitely not what I would recommend for the goals you laid out here.

Feel free to give us a call if you would like to discuss this in length. 609-752-0321

ECS Supercharger Kit includes the Paxton SL1500 Supercharger Head Unit, 8-Rib Drive.

From Top To Bottom:

Dyno #1 Base Kit, STOCK Vehicle besides Kit, Stock Bottom End 624rwhp/589rwtq

Dyno #2 Base Kit, ECS Alky Control System, ARH LTs, Stock Cam, Stock Bottom End 754rwhp/695rwtq

Dyno #3 Base Kit, ECS Alky Control System, ARH LTs, ECS Big Blower Camshaft Package, Stock Bottom End 833rwhp/732rwtq

Dyno #4 Base Kit, ECS Alky, ECS Big Blower Camshaft Package, ARH LTs, ECS 417ci 847rwhp/764rwtq

Dyno #5 Base Kit, ARH LTs, Upgrade to 10-Rib Drive, Upgrade to YSi, RHS 427ci 1028rwhp/888rwtq

Our base kit is enough to get you going and will NEVER require a bracket, ducting, or intercooler upgrade to reach the top tier HP goals you have set forth. The YSi is a direct bolt-on to our current brackets.

Not sure there is a better choice then turbos'...I am bias though

IPS TT KIT - GT3586R HTA Billet wheels and you will make all the power you want - We have 4 1k hp builds all TT being built right now.

How much nicer would it be to have boost control settings of A and B oh and you will not need methonal injection to make 650 whp.

Here is a dyno chart, BONE STOCK LS3 car with a borla axel back and and IPS TT Kit @ 7-8psi on pump gas.

Stock to TT

This is a comparison graph of a D1SC at 7-8 psi Stage 2 heads Cam LS3 Car we built verus the same said TT Camaro

The cost to put heads/cam/headers/blower is about 4-5k more then just putting on a TT kit, and it is pretty obvious which one looks ideal.

Stock engine cars do 700 with a cam all day long here is a video

Some more information can be found on our webpage www.ipsmotorsports.net or you are welcome to contact us in any other manner!

this is what I calla good dilema either way your car will be nuts

My buddy Angel has the IPS twins and my buddy Lou has the Paxton ECS kit both are awesome , as is the whipple too,

The ECS kit looks really nice under the hood too

I have a turbonetics kit and im a Turbo fan, having the power on demand is like having the best of both worlds stock drivabilty when out of boost and scary power at 2800 rpm

plus the engine has a bitless stress with the turbo

either way you ruining lots of tires
