Weird AC Issue (2010)

AC always blew out freezing cold air. Had 1st oil change done at the shop after putting in blown LSX376 (Extremely bad-ass running). I told the mechanic that the only thing I ever noticed was it seemed the Maggie was on the loud side, but it wasn't much different then before with the Lingenfelter-built engine. So the only thing he said he noticed was that the AC unit was a little on the loud side. Okay.

A day or so later, I now have an issue where the drivers side vents blow out warm/ambient temp air while the passenger side still blows out the ice cold air.

The Chevy dealer service rep said he doesn't see how since it is a shared duct supplying both sides.

My engine builder/shop just called after investigating and said they were stumped and need me to bring the car in for troubleshooting. They are a long-established Corvette restoration business, so trust is not an issue. i only want them to work on it- they did a killer 765 hp build.

Does anyone have any idea what could cause such an issue? When sticking your fingers in the vents, you can easily feel the temperature difference. Is engine heat somehow getting in while the AC is running? It's odd no matter what it is.

And it's been 90-100 here lately, but AC always overcame any temperature. The quickest/coldest AC in any car I've had.

maybe one of the vent doors is not opening on your side? can you trace the duct and see at which point it becomes cooler to the touch?
