Also there is a clicking & clunking sound when its shout off , it sounds like its coming from the throttle body ,

It sounds like a relay but really loud

can you take a picture of the can and hose routing. center nipple to the hose from the breather on the engine, side nipple to the intake fitting.

Yes center fitting from catch can goes to the side of the engine to the back hose and the fitting on the outside of the catch can goes to the top of the intake ..

Did you get the breather? Thought I read in the v6 FI section someone had a similar issue; they either added a breather, cleaned it or something lie that.

Make sure the drain valve is closed. The best way to do this: put your finger on the end of the drain tube with the car running, if you feel suction it's open and this is your problem. Solution, close it.

Also do you have a CAI? I noticed that after installing the catch can with my CAI I would get an "air purge/wistle" sound when the car was turned off, this is completely normal.

Hey guys thanks for all the info ...

Yes, the butterfly is closed , did the vacun check with finger ,

the hose's are ran right ,

Yes I do have a CAI , K& N typhoon... I think this is what I am hearing , It was there before , But when you shut off the car ,I'min the car and the engine cover is on and hood closed , so it was not that noticeable ,

Went the the car show today , never had any issues , no CEL'S , so all in all I think I'm fine , time will tell...

Thanks again..

Also still waiting on Tracy to reply ...from RX ...

There was a car at Camaro5 fest yesterday that had an issue with an RX can and may be related. This was a turbo car and the can was bought from JDP and then installed by Jannetty. He was on the dyno and it started smoking badly out of the exhaust after a run. One of the techs heard a whistle noise and tried to remove the oil cap and there was so much vacuum on the crankcase it was very hard to remove. When it did come of there was a loud suck sound and the whistle stopped. I heard someone say it may have been installed wrong and pulling air past the rear seal with that much vacuum, possibly damaging it.
With having seen this. I am wondering if guys having this whistle noise actually have a lot of vacuum on the crankcase and the sound is air getting in past the seals. I would try to pull off the oil fill cap while running and see if there is vacuum in there. If so, not good.

Well if all is installed properly and in good condition they may need a breather or vacuum relief valve. Are they running a vacuum pump?
