Installing Ice-Olator this morning!

I've had it for awhile now and finally getting around to installing it today. I also plan on painting the IM yellow, will update later.

I used a sealant, from my understanding if you use a gasket you will need longer bolts. That's the only reason I used a sealant.

I have the longer bolts but I don't think I'm going to use them. Like you it's been sitting around waiting for me to install. I have paint alreadys for valve covers and intake i just need to get my rear in gear. I hate it when work gets in the way of mods !

I wouldn't see why you would need to unless the RTV is not strong between the manifold and spacer

I've been looking for a day to do this too! Please let me know how the job goes with the slight change in location for that long intake tubing from the s/c.

As to re-sealing with RTV, when I tried to remove my Mace intake spacer, it took several good whacks with a rubber mallet to knock it off! That thing was going nowhere until I really wanted it to move.

Total time minus the time it took to paint was about 1 hour, 2 with the paint. I have to take off and put a few more coats of paint on it. The back bolts weren't as bad as I was expecting. Just remember the 4 middle bolts are longer the the front and back ones.

I'll get some pics up in a day or 2.
