CEL from borla 60626 secondary cat delete
I recently got my borla atak cat back with the 60626 secondary cat delete pipes installed on my stock zl1, other than rotofab CAI, and after about 50 miles of driving I got a check engine light. There was no welding needed as the 60626 bolts right on to my catback, so what could this CEL be from? I was under the impression that the secondary cats don’t throw a code when removed. I pulled the codes at autozone and it read P0420 Catalyst System Low Efficiency (Bank 1).

Nothing major you just have an exhaust leak.
Check all of your clamps and retighten

Get this stuff and use it on that slip joint on the driver side. It was recommended by other members so I tried it. I have the 60626 with the S-Type and have over 2500 miles on this setup and never a code thrown.

I did not use this stuff and have 1400 miles on the set-up no codes. You need to take the factory front clamp off and use the borla one though. I tried to use the factory clamp started it and had a leak. I cut the factory clamp off and put the borla on to required torque and no issues
