We sold the Nickey at the Mecum Fall classic a couple of years ago during the worst economic climate. It brought much less than we expected. Approx. $450,000.00 with fees. The current owner has been offered more just recently but does not want to sell.

Beautiful.
Early build date? I only ask 'cause they had the 375hp 396 offered. Nickey always had the right idea. I've loved that stinger hood forever.

Big Block Camaros were not available until later in the Model year and the 375 hp solid lifter 396 was not available until even months later with only 1,138 or so ever produced. A 427 L88 N/A was a stout combination.

Not a Nickey but tried to make mine take on the persona of a '67 with flags, redlines and knockoffs. I remember seeing the first Camaro tv commercial with a yellow SS coming out of a volcano while watching Bonaza. Would have gotten one but just bought a new '66 GTO. FF 47 yrs and finally got one when I retired a few yrs ago.

Here ya go. Hey if you watch the video in reverse, you can watch it drive back to the volcano and sink to its doom in the lava.
