I decided to paint my engine cover, fuse box cover, and the trim on the CAI cold air today.
I mixed up several different colors and finally decided on the one in the pic.
Crappy cell pic, but you can see it pretty good.

Airbrushed btw.

It took me FAR longer to mask it off and prep it than I would've thought. Painting was a cinch.
Its house of kolor paint. Brandywine Kandy, apple red Kandy, and a dash of cinder red metallic mixed. After painting base, I put two coats of ultraflow clear on it.
its hard to mess up when you are using a great product.

I want to get an extra fuse box cover so I can paint mine, that definitely looks so much better paint matched

Looks great. Perfect amount of accent without going overboard. I like that you painted the center & sides red on the engine cover, really makes it pop with the silver.
