My experience on owning a newly cammed Camaro
As some of you know my car was cammed a few weeks ago. Nice weather has let me take it out 2 Saturdays in a row. Full sun and warm temps. So far its been great. Big performance gains and a badass sounding setup attracts alot if positive comments. It has a great lope and while at the lights the idle sounds like my uncles old muscle cars from back in the day. Best thing ive done to the car. Also with having a stock looking car it surprises alot of people looking to flex on me while driving...Bmw m3 and a few audis haha. This car will never lose a rev battle. So if youre on the fence regarding a cam.....do it.

Sounds like fun! Other than the obvious power gains, does it drive any different with a cam?

It has a very slight surge around 900 to 1000 rpm. Ive owned the car for 10 years so any little change I notice. And it shakes at the lights.....not overly but enough you feel it pretty good. Driving is not much different. Highway speeds it just purrs along with no issues. I was expecting it to be more of a handfull .

Awesome bro!! Glad you're loving it!! It sure is a ton of fun where ever I go with mine, and yea be ready for a LOT of attention, especially with the Corsa exhaust!! Sitting at stop lights my Camaro just shakes and rocks all over the place, really cool. Had people ask,"what's wrong with your car"?? lol. And like you said, drives like butter... Smooth. Go get you a 4200 stall and be REALLY impressed!! lol. Enjoy the new found performance!!

This is very true. With the 3200 stall and 391s it get going pretty good now.

Very cool!! I still have the stock gear in mine. Decided not to mess with it since this big stall really lets me leave QUICKLY!! Plus I do cruise around a LOT and go to shows that sometimes require a drive of sorts on the interstate.

Can’t wait for my appointment to get my cam done. I had a m3 with work done try me the other day and we where bumper to bumper the whole time was actually a great race for 3 blocks with no clear winner. Can’t wait to smoke em when I get the cam and converter done.

I have 391s and the circle d pro 5c, which in my car stalls in the 4200-4500 range. Its a perfect match. This thing is an animal out of the hole

^^^ same here, same one. Ordering my NT555R2's tomorrow so I can actually hook it up! This converter is really fun!! But the Conti's just go up in smoke if I don't feather it off the line..
