there is nothing wrong with adding it....but the gains for a na build like Bo said are not worth the money to hp vs other mods.

A little late to this thread, but here are my two cents.
I am an N/A Camaro running e85. I had heard wonderful things about e85 and the main talk was the power gains that there are from switching over. While researching I encountered that e85 tends to run cooler than pump 91. So I made the switch over to an e85 tune as I wanted the cooling benefits as I tend to run my car through canyons for an hour to two. I will sometimes see outside temperatures of 100 during summers. The car will remain running great even with AC on. I went into it knowing that power gains were not a for sure thing but cooling was more of my goal. |

E85 also cleans carbon off of the tops of your pistons, chambers and valves.

I am adding E85 to my car really soon. Thanks to Covid I have been waiting on parts for almost 2 months. Will be doing dyno pulls stock, 93 octane and E85. So will see what gains it makes.
I am doing for now Roto-Fab intake, BTR 103mm throttle body, LOD intake manifold, LOD fuel rails, 1000cc injectors, Stainless Works 2" headers, Mighty Mouse catch can, thermostat, plug wires, plugs dampener pulley and E-85 I know some of this is over kill for now but planning a Dart LSX next block, Frankenstein heads and Procharger this winter. If I knew it was going to take this long to get parts I would of just waited. Was hoping for a little more power for the summer |

Props to LOD. Only thing I ordered that came in right away. Received it in less than a week. Already had time to Cerakote it

Only problem with E85 is availability. We have ONE station in the area that sells it. :(

I have a 15 Z28 and did Heads , cam , headers (no cats) Injectors and a flex fuel kit. The car comes stock with the ZL1 pump and it will not supply enough pressure over 5K RPM. I bought a JMS booster but have not installed it yet. I wish someone would make a drop in pump that didn't require a return or an Aux pump that didn't need a boost reference to activate it. I went with it mainly for the smell being I am cat-less and it does burn cleaner.

Use a nitrous RPM window switch to turn on your aux pump.
