Hey all,

This past weekend I lost the outer valve spring. Unknowingly, the springs should be changed out every 20-25k miles which I never knew sadly. I have some new ones on the way now (https://www.motionraceworks.com/prod...ol660springkit)

The outer spring is gone, however the valve is still held up with the smaller inner spring. I called Brian Tooley Racing about it and they said all is well due to the secondary inner spring, but I do need to change all the springs as these are about 25k miles now. Using a BTR Stage 4 turbo cam.

Help wise, I ordered a hose from BTR so I can pressurize the cylinders. I'm not sure what end I need to buy to hook up to a compressor. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure which hose end the BTR comes with, but with my hose I was able to use a spare air compressor fitting that came with my air compressor kit.

It's just your standard male fitting like these...

I just rotated the motor so the piston is at top dead center... look in the spark plug hole and make sure you see the piston, then change the springs on that cylinder.
