ZL1 in my Future.. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

After contemplating selling my SS for a Vette and going back and forth with dealers and in my mind throwing ideas around. I finally decided to just Keep my Camaro, I just don't think i can go to something else its just to big of part of me i guess. So i called up the dealer and told my guy that im just keeping the SS and probably going to start with the upgrades soon on the L99. *My main thing was that as my daily driver i want the Warrenty however i want more power (

Don't we all ? )*
anyway he asked me to come in one last time to talk. Well by the time i walked out ive pretty much set my mind to the ZL1, i never really took the time to really look at it and really have had no interest in it until i heard 580BHP and Magnetic Ride Control
( I hadn't really looked into the ZL1 untill today ) my eyes lit up its a great deal and i keep a warrenty

Plus i've wanted to paint my Camaro Summit white and Drop a Manual Transmission in it before, after i regret an all black Daily driver in 105F and i regret the Automatic, well now i get to take that all back.
Plus with the Optional (if they offer them) black wheels i really don't see myself modding a ZL1 Much
i know they haven't released any hard numbers yet but any idea on what the MSRP will be on them ?

i saw the dates, Orders will be aloud before Pricing is Announced ? I would love to order and have one of the first in Houston but i don't wanna order and put down a payment and find out the over price the hell out of it ?

It would be great to find out what the ZL1 is going to list for. I contacted my dealer salesman that I bought my 2010 Camaro from. He doesn't have anything firm and won't until November.

I've heard anywhere between $44K - $60K. Does anyone know for sure??

Don't the ZL1's come in limited colors like 3 or 4 what colors are they?

They should be available in any Camaro color. They aren't a "limited edition" or anything. They have to compete with the GT500, so prices should be comparable.

The ZL-1 is intended to compete with the GT500 in performance and price.

Well I talked to my dealer again today. And got my car apprasied for 30 witch is not what I was wishing for but still not to bad, I think I'm going to put a deposit down when they will let me order and order a sumit white with the swede package and black wheels if it's an option, (6 speed manual of course!!) as long as it's
Not more than 60k i should be fine. And hopefully il be one of the first in Houston. Il have it to all the htown meets as soon as possible, wish

If you're going for suede seats and "reasonably" optioned, expect around 55,000 BEFORE taxes and all that shit. For a fully loaded SS, I BET it will come out to 60,000 after taxes and everything.

There is an automatic ZL1? Thought it only came in 6 speed manual? I don't care what anyone says i would get the auto ZL1 OH THE HORROR
