I don't think anyone can really blame you, park a Zo6 next to an SS and there really is no real debate, about looks or performance.
I think the ZL1 will narrow the gap in both departments, but an SS is no contest. Congrats, and enjoy! |

Heres a Few More, My actual Camera is Dead So no video or HD Photos for now but tomorrow il get some actual Pictures and a video of the sound system, (Killer, 3 JL Amps and a JL W6 10" with all the Bose Speakers Rewired for the extra Power ) and it has the Mild to Wild Switch wired to a remote, a new Intake, and a Tune. Last Dyno was 517Hp!! This thing is in a whole nother class than my SS was. Performance wise and Looks, its a head turner.

I had thoughts of doing this as well. I have my eye on a 2007 lamans blue Z with 21,xxx miles and the dude wants $46,000 firm for it. I dont really know if it's a good deal or not, havnt done all the research yet. If you don't mind, what did that 08 Z set you back?

Ive been debating on getting a used ZO6 or get the ZL1. If Chevy price is not too high i'll get the ZL1....if not, its the ZO6.

Impossible! People don't cross-shop Camaros and Corvettes...
Seriously though, good move. Also, since I see a lot of posts like this, it makes me think bringing the Camaro back was a good move on GM's part in another way: the Camaro crowd seems to be "upgrading" to Corvettes a lot. |

The same is true with a series of smaller performance vehicles to debut at SEMA. Chevrolet can be a cradle to grave brand for performance enthusiasts. |

Congratulations. Z06 is a very nice ride. We drove an 08 Z06 and were considering buying that for my wife. We found an 06 C6 that she liked better. Z06 was definitely in a different class.

If I didn't need a daily driver I would be getting a C6 Z06 next spring. They are the best performance bargain out right now and luckily for me they will continue to drop in price once the C7 comes out. I can't wait.
