Relay Chatter From Fieldgoal wire harness - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just wondering if anyone who bought the Fieldgoal halo harness is having a relay chatter ?
When my engine is running and headlights on I get a chatter out of the relays in the harness. If the engine is not running but the headlights are on there is no chatter. I never noticed this before because the engine running covered the chatter. But when I went for a state inspection the hood was open and both me and the inspector could hear the chatter.
I know this usually happens on pulse modulation but was wondering if anyone else out there has noticed this in their harness ??
Fieldgoal seems to have vanished off the site again.

Had the same issue, I replaced them with diode relays or you can get a couple of 276-1101 diodes from radio shack.

When you mean "chatter" do you mean like a buzzing noise? I would just like some clarification. I'm a new car owner. Would like some more insight on this.

Yes, the relay chatter is so fast it is a buzzing.
I have finally got in touch with fieldgoal he has asked me to send the harness back to install the diodes.

I have it.....and have noticed no chatter at all.....I've had mine for 2 1/2 years, and no issues. one thing that is difference is that my relay is inside the facia, so its all hidden, I don't know if I could hear it even if it did......either way, it works like a champ.
