TOAD diagnostic software

Went to a local garage in CT. and they were using a software package called TOAD. Total OBD and ECU Automotive Diagnostics. It was pretty close the the GM software but I didn't really get to see the full edit functions. It is reasonably priced at $77 compared to the $500 plus for the GM software. Anybody seen this windows based package ??

hmmm... sounds like a deal. you go on the website and Dave "probably an automated response" thing tell you not to leave and offers a money-back guarantee for a full year. if it's legit... sounds like a cool deal.

How do you know it is close to GM software?
I wonder if anyone here has an experience with TOAD.
It would be a waste if it's just another obd 2 program.

I have seen the GM program when they were updating my ECU before my SC upgrade. I ask for a complete scan of ECU and BCM based on issues verts were having at he time. The interrogation scenes seemed very similar. This is why I am curious. There is never a waste on even on a ok OBD program for most people for this $.
