I saw a real ZL575 today...

however we were not in a position to "test". It was in Maher Chevrolet in St. Petersburg FL for $42,995.00. Numbers correct with the top trim package. It had a dyno sheet with the 575 At THE WHEELS documented.

Unless you got close enough to see the badging you might mistake it for an SS and get killed. The interior looked pretty stock also.

That looks sweet. I really like how they covered the hole in the bumper & carried the stripes to the edge of the hood the way they should be done.

There is one for sale in my little town, wealthy fellow had it built, has 500 miles on it! He traded it for a new Z28. All the upgrades, saw the paperwork over $68k when new. The wheels look different (better) than the one pictured.

SLP made these in various packages and varying hp ratings. They are sharp cars, but ditch those wheels...NOW! The previous owner must've kept the SLP wheels.

The wheels have to go...

The ZL badging is interesting......beside the S/C , what else have they done to the suspension or drivetrain to honor the ZL name plate?

For the price it's a steal though to get a 575rwhp car.

From my memory, the 575 hp was the rating at the crank (I also remembered the stock dyno from a video, and a stock SLP rated at nearly 500 at the rear wheels). If that's rwp, then some aftermarket tuning may have been done. I loved the slp ZLs (before the real Zl1s came on the scene.). I liked how they painted the stripes on the car, and the protruding hood scoop was sinister looking.

Except price, power, and individualism. (If that really has 575 at the wheels)

SLP is not 575 to the wheels. Just a package like Hennessey and Lingenfelter does. Still a nice car expecially with the SLP wheels.
