Does anyone here own a 1LE and a 2012+ Challenger V8?
Just curious, as I was thinking of getting a 2012 SRT8 or R/T with Track pack just to mess with and have as a toy.
It would be my first Mopar, and I would keep both it and my 1LE. Hopefully, my wife will not kill me if I let her drive it. |

They are heeeeeeeeeeeavy. I think the SRTs are pushing 4500lbs.
I love the exhaust note of the HEMI though. The front end is the weak part of these cars. So is the 5 speed auto. My 0.01 cent. |

I was going to get a Used Challenger to mess around with, but it seems over on the Challenger forums that those cars are problem cars.
I might just wait for my 1LE to be paid off in a year or 2 and just get one new to park next to my 1LE. |

You know the old saying 'Mopar or no car'?
I work for FCA and I will choose no car. |

How does our 1le stack up against an 09 rt with maybe cai, headers and being stick? My buddy at work just got one and is always talking smack now

They are rather portly, lol, I rarely talk smack beforehand, I let actions speak for me. It does sound pretty good though

My buddy just bought a '15 RT 5.7 challenger. It's a decent car. He wanted a scat pack but couldn't afford it. I drove both a auto and manual scat pack. The auto does feel a lot better due to the quick paddle shifts. Our cars aren't small but these things do feel huge. Neither scat pack impressed me and I didn't like the steering or suspension feeling at all.

The 1LE would embarrass a scat pack/rt/whatever challenger around corners.
