LSA lid in/out, which is right?
Does it matter which ports on the lid are used for the inlet/outlet? I've searched through several pics and have seen it done either way (see pics below). The guy I bought my kit from recommended to run the hose from the top port to the reservoir in order to help eliminate air pockets so that's the way I have it currently. Thoughts?

The top line is usually the out line but in the end it doesn't really matter. You can route your hoses and pump in different ways and still get there.

I’ve done it both ways, have not seen a difference. I’m running my lines like the top pic now but have not seen a temp change...
