I definitely will drive mine more but the car is pretty prestine so and has 1900 miles so I’m not killing it. Mostly long rides with a route with curves my car has headers and cam since had 300 miles. Over 500 whp so it moves along well. Will never see another 427 Camaro so it makes this car desirable in my book. And now everyone wants a blower so this car has its place in history for sure. This forum is very interesting to me. Love seeing the experiences of other owners.

Chiming in for the sake of chiming in. Still the most badass Camaro(I'd argue even more than the zl1-1le due to the displacement/sound/CCBS - and looks way better). Mine is seeing plenty of action on the twisties up here. Creeping on 50k and daily driven till the weather goes bad.

You are going to pass me eventually Mark lol. I'm almost at 51k on mine. AFAIK, I have the highest mileage Z28 in the country... that is, until you beat me.

I'm just glad someone else is driving their's as much
Honestly though wish there was more of the tech stuff here. Like how to do your own cam swap. However I don't think many of the Z owners are willing to mess with a rare car. Last edited by Mark_Z28; 10-10-2018 at 02:25 PM. Reason: bad grammar day |

Easy enough.. it's just like any other LS out there. Plenty of books on how to do it, procedures etc. Just a little more effort to get stuff out of the way due to being a LS7. There's one book on Amazon that I got a few years ago to give me all the torque specs and sequences that has pictures and step-by-step walk-throughs for every part of the process from bare block to complete that was like $20 bucks.

Regarding this being a dead forum...Only natural for it slow down, but it’s a close knit group. I still jump on here regularly just to see what’s up with Z/28 compadres.

Well stated! Many move on as new stuff comes out like the aforementioned ZL1 1LE so naturally even visitation of non-owners fades as newer products are released. Geez, same thing with Corvettes or other muscular cars. I love driving the Z and its got a home for a long time.....
