Rotate Rear Wheels to Front?

Anyone out there ever try rotating their rear stock 1LE wheels to the front? I know that they're two different widths, between the fronts and the rears, but I'd like to know if anyone has actually tried it before.

If so, did it rub when turning full lock? Just curious.

Thanks!

If 1LE are anything like SS wheels, a spacer is needed for rears to have clearance on the fronts.

The rears will not work on the front, you will have rubbing issues.

The rear will not fit in the front.
20x11 in the rear is too big for the front along with rubbing issues

Thanks for the input guys! That's kind of what I thought.
Can't afford $300 a piece new fronts for now, so I'm going to have a shop do a rim swap to put the fronts on the rear wheels to buy myself a little time.

so your running a square set up on staggered wheels?

i am pretty confident from post camaro5 that i am safe running square 275/40/20 on 10 inch wide wheels with a+35 offset.....these things look huge to me

The 1LE has same 285/35/20 both front and rear. It's just that the front wheels are 10" wide and the rears are 11" wide

Stretching the 285 over the 11 inch rim was supposed to help with turn in for road courses.

CHRISCAM...I have four (4) OEM Goodyear tires with about 5K "old man driven, babied" miles on them sitting in my basement from my 2014 1LE. I replaced them for "all season" Michelin for mid-west winter driving 2 years ago. All four for the price of one...plus you arrange shipping from Missouri to SoCal (could be expensive???).

Thanks for the input, guys. I ended up finding a local mom & pop tire place that happened to have a pair of 295 35 20 Pirelli P-Zeros that were in excellent condition used. They're $350 ea. on Tire Rack, but I got them for $90 for the pair, installed. They also moved my rears to the front.
Next I got a 4-wheel alignment to hopefully cure the inside toe wear that I had on the old fronts.
Hopefully, for just a couple hundred $ I bought myself at least 6 months. Maybe by that time the economy will be a little better and I can grab a pair of new tires!
