No.
Yeah when I first saw one in person it looked so weird to me. Sad about the SS

No.
Funny. Everyone loved the SS but nobody actually purchased one.

So related question, what car does Chevy run in Sprint Cup then?

They could run Impala or Malibu I suppose. Most likely Malibu.

They are impossible to find in a 6 speed. They were blowing out the 16's but hard to find. 17's are en route.

Incidentally, Acadia was GM's 6th best selling vehicle in the US last month.

I love the SS for what it is, but also hate what I feel it is "missing".

In my situation (aka...a young child and probably another coming in the future) the SS sedan makes good sense. My Camaro isn't my daily...no, but when another kid comes I fear I'll never drive it seeing as how getting a rear facing seat in the thing is near impossible. (well...getting it back OUT is much worse than getting one in....I know). Now, with one kid in a forward facing seat it isn't bad.

I actually thought about the idea of selling my beloved Camaro SS for a lightly used SS sedan, but in the end I can't do it and I think I'll just try and stick it out with the Camaro.

The SS sedan just looks too last gen, too Malibu-ish...not aggressive enough. I guess with some visual mods that can be helped, but still. It also is rocking the LS3 (wishing it had the LT1) and the older 6 speed auto. So on account of those things...I just can't do it after getting used to the LT1 and the 8 speed.

If GM were to release an updated SS sedan on a longer Alpha platform with the updated hardware...(and fingers crossed that it looked good to my eye) it would be so damn tempting....and probably very expensive assuming it only came loaded again.

The other thing about the SS sedan (especially around here) is that they are truly rare. That appeals to me also, but its not enough to make me jump I guess.

This ^ The SS checks a lot of boxes, but I agree its looks are way to bland IMO. I know it is a much superior car, but IMO the Charger still looks better. I also think the G8 GT looks better than the SS. It's a shame

THIS!!!

It was too neutered... It needed to be a bit more aggressive looking. It needs to be the 4 door version of the Camaro, really! They would probably sell a crap-ton of them... yeah, may cut into some Camaro sales, but the sales gained by those that skip a Camaro for lack of back seat and 4 doors?

I see a few on here... gotta sell cause I need a 4 door, family coming. BINGO!

Cut into some of those BMW sales?

So this is interesting.

Pay $1500/month, and you can swap out Cadillacs whenever you feel like it. Pricey, but interesting.

Marketing scam at it's finest, what a joke though I'm sure people will fall in line over it.

You can do the same thing through any rental company in the nation.

I don't think it's quite the same thing. There isn't a rental company anywhere that will let you have a CTS-V or a CT6 Platinum for months on end and let you swap out vehicles on a whim. Plus registration, insurance, and maintenance are all taken care of already.

If you go to Enterprise and ask for a month long lease, probably at best you'll get something like an Impala Premier.

I'd say this is more of a no-commitment lease than a rental agreement.

I don't know. When you factor in insurance, taxes, lease payment... it get's up there pretty quick.

Imagine if you will.. get a CTS-V for a month.. go to some track days and wear out the tires.. next month.. new CTS-V. And insurance is included.. that makes it an intriguing deal to say the least.

Yeah... but I can get a 4x4 Escababylon during the winter... then switch over to a CTS-V for the summer? Sweet!
