[QUOTE=Jason 98 TA;3596640]The cam can be purchased as a entire package with PRC springs & hardened pushrods. Here's a link to it on our site. We are doing a blower on a car today, and hope to add the camshaft in about a month.

Jason:
Did the above car ever get this cam installed and if so what were the results?

Which PRC springs (.650 vs .675) are recommended with this "Blower Cam"?

What length push rods did you end up using on your personal car with this cam? (assuming it still has stock heads)
Yes, I know it's important to measure for the proper length!!!!!!!

Like Caliman, I too would like some more info on that car. 700RWHP sounds very nice, but we want to know if there is a lot more risk of destroying our motors. Here is CA we have 91 at the pumps.

CW - 2SS

I'm currently having lots of fun building my 2014 2ss /55000 miles, came with volant cai,(Dino base @ 378) then I added Texas speed long tube headers with high-flow cats + tune and gained 38 whp, wasn't near enough for me, so then I added Maggie tvs2300 7 psi + tune and gained 151 whp (566 whp now) the smile on my face has been from ear-to-ear loving the hp and feel as long as I keep it cool I won't break anything . Should I quit while I'm ahead ??? Because I am considering my next move being smaller upper pulley ,(9-10 psi) upgrade on Maggie/Texas speed stage 2 blower Cam kit and of course fuel upgrade which includes boost a pump, bigger injectors ect.., should put me around 650 whp.
Thanks in advance for any input to those of you who have similar setups and how there 5th gen has been running? Has anything broke via suspension ect..

I do not have the TSP Blower cam, however, I am running a camshaft that is 227/243 on a 115LSA. This cam, along with LT headers, AGP twin fuel pumps, and 93 pump gas, the car made 743rwhp @~10psi. On E85, car made 806rwhp @~10psi.

This car is my daily driver, I'm still on the STOCK clutch, differential, driveshaft, axles, etc. I put the Whipple on @12K miles, car is currently sitting at 66.5K miles. Not one single issue.

I am getting ready to install a 10-rib pulley setup, and drop to a 3" blower pulley and shoot for 900+rwhp on E85 @ 15-16psi. The car now has ported stock heads as well.

What's the elevation there in California? That may be the reason you can only get 91 octane. You can easily run meth as a safety net, and not rely on it for an additional fuel source if you are worried about pre-ignition. When I lived in Albuquerque (6500+ft ASL), this is exactly what I did. I ran the smallest nozzle Alky Control sells, #7 IIRC, and set the controller to only spray under boost. These motors can handle properly tuned 700rwhp without to much issue under normal conditions (daily driven street car, NOT dedicated drag car).

Batmann, amazing you're still running a stock clutch! I don't drive mine very often or very far, but the TQ on the stock clutch was too much and I had to upgrade.

CW, at 55k miles, you may not know too much about how hard your car was previously driven. Plan on a clutch upgrade too. Best of luck with your build!

Wow. Really old topic. We’re sea level in Los Angeles. I ended up building a LSX376B15. Whipple, meth, H/C. RPS triple carbon clutch. Car made 833RWHP.

Thanks for the tip about upgrading the clutch everything feels good with it thus far, my car goes in this coming Tuesday for blower cam : 227/235, .641"/.649", 114 LSA
I think my tuner said 2.6 pulley for the Maggie, fuel upgrade/boost a pump and bigger injectors.
Hoping to dyno out at 650 plus.

Scott 743 is amazing!! Good luck on the 900-plus

Well it's done, stage 2 cam, MSD boost a pump , fuel injector upgrade, it made 627 rwhp, sae smoothing (corrected) ??
649 rwhp uncorrected ??
From 566 - 627 equals 61 (my goal 650+)horsepower gain.
I believe the reason I didn't get my 650 rwhp they did not have a 3-inch pulley in stock for Maggie
They had the following in stock, 3.2 which is on it right now, 2.8 , 2.9 both achieved major belt slippage.
So a 3in pulley is on order and we'll go from there.
Any feedback would be great especially on the corrected vs. Uncorrected
