Keyless entry reciever problem?

My 2010 2SS has recently been having increasingly frequent problems with the keyless entry not working. First range started decreasing, then sometimes not working at all. I figured it was battery changed it, and it was good. Next day, wont work at all, no matter what. Have to get in with the key like some kind of animal, and start it to cancel the alarm. Bought a chilton subscription and it seems to me like it must be the keyless entry receiver. As soon as i buy one, it starts functioning perfectly. Anyone else have any ideas? I guess i will replace it anyway, it was only 28 bucks.

I know that this was last year but I am having this same problem, and I have a couple of questions if you have a moment.
the computer says the receiver is fine but none of my fobs are working. Where did you find a receiver and is your's a remote start? I can find the receiver but I'm having trouble finding one with the remote start.
I have a 2014 Camaro RS.
Thanks for your time.

I have been researching this issue and called the GM dealership, they said that they could "let me have" one of these modules for $175.00, I found the same part on Amazon for $15.99. Now my problem is how do I replace it. I've never not been able to find a you tube on how to do something but this is the first thing. I just need instructions on how to do it.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the link where you found on Amazon? Thank you.

Is it the antenna box to the right of the rear view mirror?
