ZL1 1LE dynoed in the 540-545 tq range in the things I've seen; regular ZL1 was up there in the 570 range though. Not sure why...but then again, the ZLE also tops out ~175-180 vs the regular ZL1 topping 200.

This was a cool read; found it when I was considering a ZL1: https://www.lsxmag.com/news/on-the-d...amaro-zl1-1le/

Are you still using the OEM ceramics? What pads?

Man... I can't believe my stock LS7 Z is now considered a momentum car!

Very cool thanks for sharing.
Only wish we had tracks like that around here were could get on.

Myself I have yet to encounter a ZLE on track with my Z but often wonder what the outcome would be with a good driver, my power levels are around about the same as yours or just a tad more, also have done a few other mods as well so it would be interesting. What tires were you on here?

Post up more if you get the chance... Thanks

Nice Times

Did you use a transponder? I don't see your time listed on Speed Ventures website? Do you use Harry's Lap Time? If you have used both do you see any diference between the two?

For some perspective on lap time - I was there the day before and ran a 1:51.9 on used up Goodyear F1 Supercar 3R tires in my totally stock Z. With more time in the car (that was only my 4th run session in the car) I think I can break 1:50 - but we shall see!

Being stock I am way down on power to the ZLE's, Z06's and GT3's out there - they walk me on the straights. But I figure I will go at it stock until I get consistent laps in the low 1:50's or high 1:40s - the jump on the power to see the impact.

We are lucky to have access to Cal Speed for sure, super nice facility. Z is a really fun track car, in spite of its weight!

I should be on the speed ventures times showing the 1:47.3 since I had a transponder. Look under Pete Bird. It matched up exactly with my track addict phone app time. That app is pretty good, but sometimes the speeds are way off but the timing is correct, or it does not break down individual laps. Not 100% good app, but it is free and the video is good!
