Mod friendly dealer in MA?
I need a new oil pump and Imperial Chevy in Mendon already told me they wouldn't do the work with my shorty headers and high flow cats.
Anyone have success with any dealer in MA with bolt ons? Thanks! Andrew |

Where are located? You can try Tasca Chevy in Woonsocket, I think they are a mod friendly dealer.

Slowhawk is in Bridgewater. Not sure if he would just do the oil pump - but if you are thinking about a new cam & dyno tune the oil pump could just be part of the job.

For warranty go to the place you bought your car. Shorty headers DO NOT void warranty but I've heard a lot of bad from imperial.
Another note, if the oil pump has failed 95% of the time it's caused by a failing cam/lifter. |

I had the car shipped from Becky at Rodger's in Michigan which is why i'm looking for a friendly dealer locally.
Might just start calling around and see if they'd give me trouble over the headers and high flow cats. Don't want to keep towing it around everywhere and getting denied warranty work. |

Thanks for the input.
I talked to the service manager at Herb Connolly in Framingham, and he seems fair. Will report back Last edited by Andoskyy; 10-04-2017 at 08:23 AM. |

Good luck but if you have to call Macmulkin, ask for Ken Howe (service writer and owns a 99 SS) and Scott Fitzgerald is the service manager and a Vette/Camaro guy

Basically if you call macmulkin at all and don't drive a vette don't talk to anyone but the service managers.
