Best Insurance company for 2010 Camaro?
Ok, not sure if this is the right sub thread, but if it isnt I am sure Junkie will move it for me
Ok, i know insurance all depends on your record and all that, and how you drive, etc, but whats the best Insurance Company for the Camaro? I have state farm and am on there as an Occisional driver and State Farm wants an extra 400-500 a month for me to be able to drive my moms car, they wont say anything for the Camaro. I just got off the phone with someone from Gieco and for me by myself with the Camaro I have a $289 a month plan. Anyone else having issues with these moronic companies? I'm 18 and a fairly good driver. I've only had 3 tickets for driving without a license and those have all been thrown out or paid (mom couldnt drive when I was drving, shes got narcolepsy), and all those have been before I was 18. fun thing about NC is I have to be insured before I can get my license, so I havent been able to do that yet, and State Farm is being stupid with the whole 400 a month extra thing, so I wanted to ask, who do you guys have, especially the guys in NC with the Camaros. Thanks, null.

There is really no best insurance company. I have allstate and am saving buttloads because I have other insurance with them. Individually I have used Geico and they were the cheapest and then I looked and found Progressive cheaper a couple years later and then went back to Geico a few years later and then to AIG as it's just a matter of looking around each time it comes due and asking if it is worth it to change insurance companies for the amount you save. As you age the cost will decrease too but not much until people hit 30 or 35. Just shop around and don't expect that your best is my best or someone else's'. Insurance is an enigma...

Just trying to get a second opinion on things, my detector hasn't been up to par, if you know what i mean. Just trying to get some info and try to compare them. I know Company A is going to have something Compant B doesnt have and vice versa. Any way I can get my rates lowered (discounts???)? Thanks guys..

Check out "Auto Owners" http://auto-owners.com/
My insurance dropped $1000/year. You'll need to be on your parents insurance though. |

OK Null_X86 here's the deal... If you are headed for 2LT status then what ever insurance you pick will only be temporary. Sign up for USAA soon as you can and you will never need to look for banking, insurance, loans again.
Coming from USAF (MSgt ret) wishing someone would have informed me earlier. |
