Doors
I opened my doors all the way. They extended 44 inches from the side of the car. With that in mind, I built my garage 30 feet wide for 2 cars.

With the Camaro being kinda wide, I don't understand why the side mirrors don't fold in!! Most cars have fold-in mirrors now right?

I seem to have a much easier time backing into my garage or into parking spaces instead of pulling in forward because you can't see anything over that front right fender.

the house I live in was built in 1962 and the garage edition was put on in 1980, I think it was built with the VW bug in mind because it is unbelieveably tight, so much so that I don't dare try to squeeze her in there. didn't even dawn on me when I went to buy her. Guess I was in Camaro tunnel vision, or is that Permagrin tunnel vision...LOL

I have a tight one car garage attached to my house, I hung some tennis balls from the ceiling with kite string so I line up perfect every time and stop perfect every time.

I have a tight 1 car garage as well. Problem is, I have shelving that is not removable on the driver side (pulling straight in). I can't back in because I have the Razzi ground effect kit, so I cant clear the front clip. So I opt to park in the driveway. Either way I only have 2" to spare due to the mirror width. Sad thing... My Escalade fit when I still had it.

My only garage fitment issue is that I can't get 3 Camaros in it.
My ZL1 will have to wait. |

And don't forget that when the car is in, Camaro Gen 5 have the longest doors of all modern cars at this time. Source: GM The making of the Camaro.

What gets me is have you ever seen older cars from 40 years ago? They were huge! How the hell did those fit!
