LT Header Sound Differences

Does anyone know the reason why the BBK LT and the OBX LT make different sounds? Is it because the BBK have hi-flow cats and the OBX don't? It seems that everyone who had the BBK LT seem to get a nice deep deep tone and the OBX get raspiness and not as deep? Anyone willing to chime in on this? I'm looking for the deep tone and I wanted the OBX because of the price but if the OBX can't really get me a deep tone then I'm willing to wait and get the BBK to get the sound i want.

Noticed this also, not sure if it's just different set ups, video or what.

Never compared but its apples to oranges. BBK = $800 OBX = $340. The obx is a lot cheaper with 304 SS, not sure about the bbk.

I realize its probably not too fair a comparison but truly, the obx are just so cheap because they are a cat delete. Catted OBX are like 500-600 dollars which puts them straight in BBK territory. I think its because of the high flow cats as that is the only component in which they differ? I could be wrong though

And the ARH are also rather deep in tone and sound almost like the bbks

Hard to tell anything for certain from videos, but I've always thought the BBKs sounded the best myself. (not that there aren't some OBX equipped cars that sound badass, because they do as well!)

Might just be my own imagination, but if there is a different, it has got to be because of the size different in the primaries, or because of the HFCs

LTs will give you the strong blow, what comes after the LT ( HFC, Off road pipes, cat back or axle back) is your whistle ( that determines the sound) !!
