Trunk Carpet kit

Need some opinions on this. I want to install this 5 pc carpet kit for my trunk. I don't track the car and probably never will.

My question is, would adding Dynamat or some other sound deadening create a problem with installing this carpet?

Would like to hear from others that may have done this.

Thanks
Dave

^^ive got the same piece. No need for a full carpet kit IMO. If you did dynomat, please dont cover up your RPO code sticker.

My concern was for anything in the trunk moving around and denting the fenders from the inside. Good point about the RPO code.

I wanted to have carpet on the floor of the trunk, along with some heat insulation -- to keep things a little cooler in back on drives to more remote tracks. Got the factory mat, used it as a stencil, and cut a piece of heat insulation that has adhesive on one side. Works like a charm!
