Wide body front fenders +1" with vents - Help us design our new fenders!
hey guys, we wanted to reach out to the community for help to finish our Wide body front fenders for the Gen5 camaro. We are currently working with our 3d files to create a design that will give some needed width to the front of the gen5.
Let us know your thoughts and what you would like to see on a pair of WB front fenders! Progress so far: |

Hard to tell. I think you should make them and put them on my car so people get a better picture

Lose the vents.
They look goofy and the only purpose they will serve will be to allow whatever stuff the tires pick up to be sprayed onto the side of the car. And they look goofy. |

I agree with that. I prefer a cleaner look

Always liked the looks of these fenders, think they would look good on the Camaro.

Thanks for the information guys. We blended in the vent a little more and tried to update the lines.. We will work on another version without the side profile vent, but with a louvered vent ontop of the fender (We really want to help the guys that are tracking their cars need to release built up air pressure trapped in the wheel wheels. With enough people interested we could also build in a block off plate for the street guys who are more concerned about debris from the road.

I love the look, I've always loved the Wide Body look so can't wait to see these in the end. I actually like the openings as well, but maybe put a screen over them and cure the worry of the fender and keep the pressure release.
If you need a test vehicle in the Midwest I would volunteer so keep it in mind. Can't wait to see how they end up in the end.

Looks clean but not a big fan of the vent in the first pic either. Would be interested to see the version with the vent on top of the fender.

The below is probably the best wide body kit I've seen so far since we're talking wide bodies...
OP, hope yours looks good in the end... also not a fan of the draft you posted with the vents in the shape/form/position. Keep at it! |

Agree with others, the vents, especially that design in that location, need to go.

Thank you for all your input. Based on the feedback, we were able to create a vent insert that will allow the guys who want to keep the look a bit more subtle and more street oriented can insert this vent cover and block off the holes but still keep the 1" flare, and if for any reason they want to track the car you can simply remove the vent insert and allow the fender to open up and help release any built up pressure from inside the wheel well.
Keep the input rolling in! We appreciate everyone's help |

What material will these fenders be made from, fiberglass carbon fiber?
