People have to understand that not everybody wants headers. A catback is the first thing most do to their cars. Op I have the Corsa Xtreme 3 inch catback and love it. Real bark when you want it but great highway manners. Of course I'm biased.

gentlemen. Question. I am getting the education of a lifetime in understanding diff exhausts. I saw a video of......Flowmaster 817746 Axle-Back System, it allows NPP function. He said on Tour, the exhaust goes through ONE side and on Track it goes back to both. Does this in any way rob performance in Tour using one side?
Is that a silly question? fredz |

And as I understand...only a few systems...catbacks, work with NPP? Solo, MBRP NO?

If you have the NPP exhaust (which I see you have a 1LE so you do) don’t upgrade the catback exhaust. Buy long tube headers or at minimum get some high flow cats. The NPP system is a great system and sounds AWESOME with long tube headers.

That's weird I did a muffler delete on my 2010 SS and I think it sounds great. Very deep and growling.

I am complete now!! Flowmaster axleback installed, Npp working nicely, and sound on both T and S are perfect! Just exactly what I was hoping. I also am doing a CAI soon but waiting for the unit to come in. Other than that just a few extra mods.....LED side markers etc. I am going to shoot that video I promised and get it on here for the fence sitters on exhaust to gain some info.

My goodness the underside of your car is dirty! How do you not get pulled over more with that setup and I assume your car as a daily driver?

I've only been stopped once, and that was only because he wanted to look at what I had and get a video of it idling
