We just got our first 19 in, uggh that thing is ugly. I have no idea why they would want to copy a Dodge inside and out.

If they had copied Dodge, I'd like it more...that coming from a GM fan.

I like the look of the new Silverado but the Ram interior can’t be beat.

Sounds like we have a couple of happy people then. I got to sit in it and dink around for a few minutes today. It's an amalgamation of a Ram/Tundra/F150 inside and out. Not really anything IMO that identifies it as a Chevy. I'm glad I bought my 17 when I did.

It does have the same dash as the 2018s

Yes, you are right. The 17s and 18s have the same dash. The 19s do not.

Tons of 2019s on Autotrader now. Including pictures of color combos we haven't seen yet. Blacked out Trail Boss looks great. Would be my choice, followed by RST.

So far on Autotrader I've seen that High Country's have Brake Pad Life on the DIC and both had sunroofs. Wish these were on Chevy's site because there's a $9k price difference between the two and visually they look the same.

Local dealer has a bright red trail boss LT. The black bumpers look like an after thought in person. As well as the chrome exhaust tips on an otherwise blacked out truck. Sticker around 59,000.

It's really a lot bigger than the '18s. I'm not a Chevy truck guy by any means, but I'd consider buying one if I could get the 6.2 in a trail boss.

In reference to the Trail Boss not having the 6.2L...

I think there's a reason for that. Think about it, there's off road variants of the High Value and High Volume trim groups. Why would the profit-rich High Feature trims lack an off road model, especially when off-road trucks are all the rage right now?

I'd be willing to bet GM has a Silverado "ZR2" in the pipeline with the 6.2L, positioned alongside the LTZ/High Country models.

To me it is still stupid that you can't get the 6.2 in all trims of the Silverado.

F-150 you can get the 3.5 Ecoboost in every trim, from the work truck all the way up to the limited. You can get the 5.0 in every trim except the limited.

Agreed. And here's the weird thing, the Sierra AT4 (the GMC Trail Boss basically) gets the 6.2L.

Maybe to get people to pay more for the GMC version?

That would be a very GM thing to do.
