Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but there was a certain Camaro that had the most advanced, highest horsepower flagship engine of it's time... an engine that was also shared with the Corvette.

I forget the name though... hold on a sec, now I remember, that's right... it was the ZL1

Chevy throwing the challenge was a response to Farley's “I’m going to beat Chevrolet on the head with a baseball bat. And I’m going to enjoy it.” comment back in August. His ego is writing checks his body couldn't cash, and he knows it, especially after Chevy pretty much said, "Come on, lets do this." and his only response is "Aahhh, nah, it's ok."

I don't know man, they have been constantly in 3rd place as for as performance goes. With the Camaro and Mustang duking it out for first.
If they do bring on a v10 to the challenger I bet its going to be an even heavier pig!
I also believe it will be the most expensive pony car when it happens.

The 392 is a low to mid 12sec car bone stock.....

......I have seen 12.2's bone stock and thats without a rolling start .....Hardley last place....but when the ZL1 comes out it will be in 3rd place...yes

.....If it's heavy.....who cares if it tears up the 1/4 mile in the 11's....which my money says it will.....easy

.....If it's costly......I say ya gotta pay to play....you think the ZL1 and GT500 come cheap?.....heck no

it's also significantly more money then a camaro ss, and actually closer to the price of a gt 500 or zl1. so it's in third place there. and the challenger rt which is more price compared to the ss or gt is also in 3rd.

Not misinformed, just comparing apples to apples. Before the 392 was out the Camaro had the challengers number. But yes the 392 is faster.
And IIRC around 10k more expensive?
