My top was very very quiet. Right before my car hit 36,000 miles it started rattling terribly to right of the latch. Took it to dealer immediately(while still under warranty) they found a broken latch.....replaced it....quiet once again....was an easy fix and proved to ME how well I know my car....it was very subtle....but I heard it immediately and knew it was out of ordinary.

Without actually hearing the noises you all are referring too, I wonder if some of these may be the interior trim piece that is part of the top, it goes from the driver to passenger side, and the release handle sits in the recess of it. It is very common for these to break where the fastening screws go into it from above. If broken, it will rattle when going over bumps. Just tap up on it from inside, if broken, you will hear the rattle.

Steve...that might have been what they replaced on mine. When I said a "latch" had broken...that was wrong terminology....but I can't remember what dealership told me the problem was. I should just pull out the paperwork and look

I just purchased my second convertible, first was a 1LT with no rattles at all. I purchased a 2015 2LT and I hear rattling at the windshield header and from the roof area behind the driver. Wouldn't have thought much about except that my other Camaro was so quiet. Time to go back to the dealer, just waiting for lousy weather so I won't mind not driving it.

Anyone have a part # for these "bump stoppers"? My dealer can't find them anywhere!
